  • A fascinating function

Glashütte Original has added a fascinating complication to an exceptional chronograph – a counter that makes it possible to count a variety of things from 1 to 99. The red number appears against a black ground in a window at 9 o’clock. Three pushers enable one to count from 0 to 99: the pusher at 9 o’clock counts up, the one at 8 o’clock down. The mechanism at 10 o’clock resets the counter to zero.

  • Visually mesmerising displays

Glashütte Original’s characteristic Panorama Date appears at 3 o’clock. Aligned along the vertical axis are the off-centre hour and minute display in the lower half of the dial and, in the upper half, the large chronograph stop-seconds scale, flanked by the subsidiary seconds dial and a 30-minute counter.

  • High-contrast precision

The hour and minute dial features applied white gold numerals and hour markers and white gold hands. The stop-seconds scale, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute counters present white numerals and indexes on black.

  • Exceptional artistic design

A superb example of the Glashütte art of engineering, the PanoMaticCounter XL features the new Calibre 96-01, a classic column wheel chronograph with flyback function. It is comprised of 584 individually crafted components and is based on the award-winning Glashütte Original Calibre 95.

The exquisite polishing and finishes within the movement are easily viewed through the sapphire crystal case back.

A remarkable complication

The counter module is comprised of 217 components. Each of these parts was crafted with maxiumum precision and given a decorative finish in the Glashütte Original manufactory. As with the Panorama Date the counter window displays double-digit numbers seamlessly, without the need for a central vertical bar..
